The Senior Project Manager will provide exceptional leadership and act as 2IC to the Director, Major Business Projects, as required. This role will play an integral role in the design outcomes for Arts Centre Melbourne as it relates to a new Public Realm, a new performing arts facility at 1 City Road as well as the reimagining of Arts Centre Melbourne.
You will be responsible for:
- Managing a team of project managers
- High focus on stakeholder management, internally and externally. Communication is a key part of this role.
- Working with internal and external groups on the design, with a focus on innovation and excellence.
- Managing and delivering project outcomes including design and construction management
- Participate in defining project outcomes and deliverables
- Manage financial budget deliveries
Your Skills and Experience:
You would have demonstrated 5+ years’, as a minimum, experience in a project management role across any asset classes. We are willing to consider someone with a sound Project Management background who has transitioned into a Development Manager role given the nature of where the projects are at.
Experience working in a live operating environment would be highly considered. It would be ideal for someone who has worked client side and/or also from a consultancy background who understands how to get the best from their consultants to achieve the highest quality results.
Due to the unique projects, there will be a high number of internal and external stakeholders who will be involved, hence it is essential you would present strong communication skills and a sound understanding of working across various divisions.
