About the Team

We create remarkable experiences. The Customer Experience pillar ensures that Arts Centre Melbourne places the customer first by creating and delivering experiences of unique value.

Whether people visit us to attend a performance, take in an exhibition, jump on a guided tour, use our car park or have a bite to eat, we aim to Earn The Encore for our customers each and every time they visit their Arts Centre. The team delivers an integrated end-to-end customer journey that provides a remarkable experience each and every time.

The Customer Engagement Business Unit is responsible for maximising audience attendance and engagement with Arts Centre Melbourne’s enriching experiences, brand, artists, products and services. The team works to deliver an integrated, end-to-end customer journey that provides a remarkable experience each and every time, by creating effective content and campaigns that engage existing, new and diverse audiences, and drive strong commercial outcomes.

 

About the Role

Passionately lead and inspire the Marketing team; championing a customer-centric approach, driving marketing strategy and activity for events and experiences and actively developing our brand.

As a member of the Customer Engagement Leadership Team, you will develop and implement strategy specifically to continuously enhance Arts Centre Melbourne’s overall customer service delivery and culture.

Full-time ongoing, salary $120,830.17 per annum plus superannuation.

 

Your Skills and Experience

  • Extensive people leadership experience with a track record of building high performing teams, both culturally and operationally
  • Experience implementing best-practice marketing principles, with the ability to learn, adapt and apply new approaches
  • An innovative, strategic, customer-centric and results oriented mindset
  • Experience using customer data to inform future decision making and translating insight into action
  • Experience managing relationships and communications with a diverse range of partners and stakeholders
  • Experience working with and briefing creative and media agencies
  • Ability to manage and deliver projects within deadline and to budget
  • Experience in the performing arts is not a pre-requisite, though an understanding of and passion for the arts and culture sector will be highly-regarded
