Whether people visit us to attend a performance, take in an exhibition, jump on a guided tour, use our car park or have a bite to eat, we aim to Earn The Encore for our customers each and every time they visit their Arts Centre. The team delivers an integrated end-to-end customer journey that provides a remarkable experience each and every time.

The Customer Engagement Business Unit is responsible for maximising audience attendance and engagement with Arts Centre Melbourne’s enriching experiences, brand, artists, products and services. The team works to deliver an integrated, end-to-end customer journey that provides a remarkable experience each and every time, by creating effective content and campaigns that engage existing, new and diverse audiences, and drive strong commercial outcomes.

 

About the Role

As a Food & Beverage Attendant you will provide a high standard of customer service and food & beverage service. You will work primarily at The Barre; Arts Centre Melbourne’s sleek space running along the curve of the ground floor of the Theatres Building, offering a touch of luxury and hint of showmanship - popular for pre-show and post-show drinks. This position is a fantastic opportunity for hospitality workers, with overtime conditions and fortnightly rosters in advance.

Full-time ongoing, salary $45,268.10 per annum plus superannuation.

 

Your Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Experience as a bar-person in a team environment
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of customer service excellence
  • Cocktail, wine and spirits knowledge
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
  • Experience as a bar-person in a team environment
  • Experience in cash handling
  • Must be available to work nights, Public holidays and weekends

 

Desirable

  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Current RSA Certificate
