About the Role
As a Supervisor, Hospitality, you will help lead our Hospitality teams to deliver exceptional service to our customers across our venues, primarily in our dining outlet, The Barre. We will provide you with development and regular coaching to build your career. You will be working in an exciting and inspiring environment, where we welcome new ideas and praise innovation. You’ll be responsible for actively contributing to the efficient operation and revenue generation of our food and beverage outlets by providing a high standard of customer service, cleanliness, preparation and effective reporting.
Full-time ongoing position. Band 2.2.15 $66,770.00 plus 11.5% superannuation and leave entitlements.
Your Skills and Experience (Key Criteria)
- Relevant professional qualification in hospitality or an equivalent combination of relevant experience
- Current RSA Certificate
- Advanced cocktail knowledge and regional wine knowledge
- Experience in the delivery of customer service excellence
- Experience in staffing management

The Hospitality team sits within the Customer Service Pillar and is responsible for the service and delivery of all food and beverage related activity in Arts Centre Melbourne including the Theatres building, Hamer Hall and Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
The Hospitality Unit is focused on delivering exceptional customer service and innovative cuisine across all venues and function spaces in keeping with Arts Centre Melbourne standards.
