Come and learn about coordinating school excursions for performing arts experiences, and support the wider Creative Learning team! During this secondment, you will be upskilled in processes including coordinating school workshop bookings, managing the shared Schools inbox, schools databases and reporting, and take part in the successful delivery of schools shows during the secondment period including the exciting seasons of Yong and Trophy Boys.
This is an exciting secondment opportunity for current ACM team members to gain experience and broaden their skillset. Interested applicants should discuss with their manager prior to applying for this position.

Key accountabilities:
Providing high level administrative and project support to Creative Learning team
Coordinating the bookings activity and processes related to schools engagement with Arts Centre Melbourne (including The Channel) from enquiry to program delivery, and liaising with school stakeholders and internal departments to ensure smooth and successful visitation by schools to Arts Centre Melbourne - especially for Education matinees of Yong and Trophy Boys
Working with the Visitor Experience and Ticketing teams, providing exemplary customer service for schools and teachers accessing programs at Arts Centre Melbourne
Maintaining accurate databases and records in relation to school stakeholders and programs
6-week full-time secondment (17th July - 29th August 2025). Band 3.1 $78,901.68 p.a. plus superannuation.

About the team
The Arts Centre Melbourne Programming Unit sits within the Performing Arts pillar and is responsible for delivering:
a breadth and range of presentations at Arts Centre Melbourne’s own risk that meet the organisation’s curatorial framework and complement the provision by Resident Companies and external presenters;
a number of events that contribute to the overall venue utilisation targets at Arts Centre Melbourne; and
a program of education/creative learning, participatory/public realm, access and inclusion, community and public programs that meet the organisation’s public purpose obligations.
The business unit is comprised of program management, artform programming, education, coordinating, and producing team members.
