About the Team

Development plays a critical role in extending the reach and impact of Art Centre Melbourne’s cultural, education, access, and commissioning and exhibition programs.

Within the Fundraising unit we tell stories to inspire and empower our donors to support programs across our philanthropic pillars of:

  • Access and Inclusion – Allowing every Victorian the opportunity to enjoy the performing arts, regardless of circumstance.
  • Education – Creating active learning experiences for the next generation of creatives, makers and backstage technicians.
  • Commissions and Creative partnerships – Supporting the creative development of new work and collaborations with artists from across Australia and around the world.
  • Australian Performing Arts Collection – Preserving and sharing our performing arts history and the Australian Music Vault.

Philanthropic giving will also be a key part of realising the ambitions of Reimagining Arts Centre Melbourne as part of the broader Melbourne Arts Precinct redevelopment. A successful ten-year philanthropic Capital Campaign will be critical to raising vital funding to make this vision a reality.
