Duty Manager, Visitor Experience

About the Team

The Visitor Experience team sits within the Destination and Audience pillar and is responsible for proactively delivering personalised services of value that create the ultimate experience before, during and after each visit.

The team is comprised of service and support teams for Front of House, Car Park, Welcome Team, Stage Door, Guided Tours and Applications that support all of these areas.

 

About the Role

You will lead high performing customer service teams who are dedicated to making every customer experience remarkable. With a range of events, from rock concerts to symphony orchestras, First Nations dance and the Comedy Festival, you will work across spectacular venues including theatres and the Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

Hours of work vary, with most events at night and on weekends, particularly Friday and Saturday. You will be responsible for the coordination and management of the immediate crisis response outside of standard business hours.

 

About You

As a confident, enthusiastic and engaging leader, you bring:

  • Significant experience leading varied service operations, supervising, motivating and driving the performance of large teams across multiple venues
  • Innate customer service and excellent communication skills, with a proven track record of creating impactful relationships with team members and customers
  • Proven experience in conflict resolution and creative problem solving
  • Strong prioritisation skills in a deadline-based environment
