About the Role
The Manager, Hospitality will oversee daily operations primarily in The Barre and also across other Hospitality outlets as required. This role is responsible for leading by example to deliver continuous outstanding customer service to our patrons and developing strategies that will increase revenue. This will include utilising social media to further our profile in the industry. The successful candidate will work a seven-day week rotating roster to support the peak trading times and events.
Full-Time fixed term position to May 2026. Band 3.2 $85,347.00 p.a. plus 12% superannuation and leave entitlements.
Your Skills and Experience (Key Criteria)
Proven hospitality management experience
Current RSA Certificate
Proven experience in effectively leading the performance of a team in a fast service bar/events environment
Strong organisational skills to coordinate internal and external resources and activities
Experience in the delivery of customer service excellence
Experience in POS system
Experience in large staffing management and development
Experience in liquor licensing requirements
Experience in technology, operating systems and applications, social media and digital mediums

About the Team
The Hospitality team is responsible for the service and delivery of all food and beverage related activity in Arts Centre Melbourne including the Theatres building, Hamer Hall and Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
The Hospitality Unit is focused on delivering exceptional customer service and innovative cuisine across all venues and function spaces in keeping with Arts Centre Melbourne standards.
