About the Position
This position will be responsible for tasks including handling accounts payable and receivable, supplier onboarding, invoice processing, reconciliations, maintaining records and reporting. In this role, you will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and be a key part of a team which strives for success through strong financial governance, compliance and vitality. This fixed term position is a great opportunity to utilise and develop your skills in this field.
Full-time fixed-term position. Band 2.3.26 $73,213.00 plus superannuation.
Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience in accounts payable management, accounts receivable management and procurement activities within a medium to large organization
- A practical understanding of accounting principles and the application of goods & services tax
- Experience in the use of a medium level finance package that interfaces with several key systems
- Contribute to continuous review and improvement of current finance procedures and processes to ensure they are clear and efficient
- Pursuit of an accounting qualification that meets Australian national framework guidelines such as CPA or CA, Diploma of Accounting, or higher would be advantageous but not essential
- Experience in the use of an events management system such as Momentus Technologies would be advantageous.
