About the Role
As a Dock Hand, you'll work behind the scenes to ensure our hospitality venues are well-stocked and ready to serve guests. This hands-on role involves receiving and processing deliveries at our loading dock, assisting with stock movement, and maintaining storage areas that directly support our food and beverage operations across multiple venue locations.
As a casual, you may be required to work weekdays, nights and weekends as well as some public holidays.
2 x casual positions. Hourly rate of $26.30 + 25% casual loading.
Your Skills and Experience
- Experience working within a stock management environment
- Ability to prioritise workload, diagnose problems and resolve issues within set guidelines, unsupervised
- Experience in the delivery of customer service excellence
- Sound communication skills
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including repetitive heavy lifting
- Desirable: Full Victorian driver’s licence, forklift licence

The Customer Innovation team is responsible for the service and delivery of all food and beverage related activity in Arts Centre Melbourne including the Theatres building, Hamer Hall and Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
The Hospitality Unit is focused on delivering exceptional customer service and innovative cuisine across all venues and function spaces in keeping with Arts Centre Melbourne standards.
