About the Role

This role is primarily located at Foyer Bars; we are currently looking for the right applicants to add to our amazing team. Our venue is fast paced and in need of some more superstars. As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will be integral to creating remarkable experiences where you place the customer first by creating and delivering customer service of unique value.

Hours of work vary, a large proportion at night and on weekends. This position is a fantastic opportunity for hospitality workers, with overtime conditions and fortnightly rosters in advance.

Hourly rate of $28.92 inclusive of 25% casual loading + 10% super

About the Team

The Food and Beverage team sits within the Customer Innovation Pillar and is responsible for the service and delivery of all food and beverage related activity in Arts Centre Melbourne including the Theatres building, Hamer Hall and Sidney Myer Music Bowl.

The Food & Beverage Unit is focused on delivering exceptional customer service and innovative cuisine across all venues and function spaces in keeping with Arts Centre Melbourne standards

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will be an enthusiastic and passionate individual, with:

  • Experience in customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current RSA Certificate
  • Experience in cashless fast-paced bar environment advantageous
  • Experience and knowledge of food handling standards and OHS compliance
  • Basic Barista and Coffee Skills
  • Food Handling Certificate
