About the Role

This role is primarily located at Foyer Bars; as an Attendant, you will be integral to creating remarkable experiences where you place the customer first by creating and delivering outstanding customer service.

Hours of work vary with a large proportion at night and on weekends to align with performances across our performing arts venues. This position is a fantastic opportunity for hospitality workers, with overtime conditions and fortnightly rosters in advance.

Key Dates

Successful candidates must be available for induction on Tuesday 14th October 2025. Please note there are no alternative dates for induction.

Casual position. Hourly rate of $26.30 plus 25% casual loading and 12% superannuation

 

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will be an enthusiastic and passionate individual, with:

  • Experience in customer service
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current RSA Certificate
  • Experience in cashless fast-paced bar environment advantageous
  • Experience and knowledge of food handling standards and OHS compliance
  • Barista and coffee skills

 

About the Team

The Hospitality team sits within the Customer Service Pillar and is responsible for the service and delivery of all food and beverage related activity in Arts Centre Melbourne including the Theatres building, Hamer Hall and Sidney Myer Music Bowl.
