About the Position

We’re building a team of events superstars to join Arts Centre Melbourne’s Conferences, Meetings & Events team. 11 events spaces across our world class venues in Hamer Hall, Sidney Myer Music Bowl and of course, the Theatres Building beneath the iconic Spire. Events range from corporate daytime clients, cocktail parties, and banquet dinners. Fast paced? You bet.

Availability in evenings and on weekends is essential. This is a fantastic opportunity for hospitality workers, with overtime conditions and fortnightly rosters in advance. We have a wide variety of roster patterns to suit your needs with regular shifts or longer hours available in the one venue.

Hourly rate of $32.87 inclusive of 25% casual loading plus superannuation

Key Recruitment Dates

  • To be considered, candidates must be available to attend onsite recruitment session on 29th May 2026
  • Successful candidates will be commencing employment from 15th June 2026

Your Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will be an enthusiastic and passionate individual, with:

  • Experience in customer service
  • Experience in a fast-paced food and beverage operation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A current RSA Certificate
  • Experience and knowledge of food handling standards and OHS compliance
